Sanando La Tierra Internacional

Sorry for the laps in posts! Here's an update on what I've been doing. :D

I went to a church in Orlando in late January called Sanando La Tierra Internacional. They are a Spanish speaking church and are seriously anointed. On this Saturday night I came to visit and do some worship painting. The Holy Spirit showed up in a powerful way. Here's a couple pictures of the service and of the painting I did.

I also had the opportunity to worship God before I got on stage to paint which was really nice. Worshiping Him always helps put us in the right mind set to get into His presence. :)

Let it flow

Quick study of a vision I had a while ago. The "flowing/soaring" mist/light/beams represents the Holy Spirit moving through towns and regions here on earth. :)

Open the Flood Gates of Heaven

I was worshiping God to the song, "Open the Flood Gates of Heaven" and God showed me this image of heaven opening up....So I painted it. :D The blue/"starry" part is supposed to be heaven and then the gates are opening and the "Glory" of God is pouring down into the world on us, His followers and rolling over itself like a river, over flowing. :D

Sorry for the pour quality photos, ill try to get better scans. :)

My Saturday

My awesome friend Reida told me about this place called The Well that's in Orlando closed to downtown. It's a place where people can pray, worship, create and connect with other people. As soon as I walk in this place with Reida, I feel the presence of the Holy Spirit. There are already countless of prophetic/worship paintings on the walls and mirrors. There is eclectic furniture for a lounge area, mismatched tables and small conversations of the waves of the Holy Spirit going on in this place. Prayer is happening in the back room as we walk into the "healing room" where most of the paintings are. They are in the process of opening up the property right next to their's for renovations for a future venue for bands to come and play. As I'm walking around, I get introduced to the owners, Guy and Jenn, whom are awesome, creative people with their spirited daughter, Abigail, running around pretending to be a tiger. She's an artist in the making if I ever saw one. haha I immediately am captivated by her as God shows me and Reida how she is the perfect example of how we should come in the presence of God: like a child. She is so free and has the most vivid imagination as well as huge faith and trust that nothing bad can happen to her here. The thought doesnt even cross her mind. She's just happy to be dancing. I realize that Jesus sees her as the most important person in the whole room. There are at least four talented, anointed, mature, walking with the Lord, Christians here but SHE is the most important out of all of us. I direct my attention to her as the others are praying together. She proceeds to tell me how much she loves colors and which ones are her favorite. She tells me that she really likes pink, yellow and purple (now I have my pallette). :D Then I pray and God gives me this vision:

The flower buds are us before we know Christ when God is planting seeds in our lives to direct our steps and point us towards Him. Then we bloom when we meet Jesus and fully give our lives over to Him. Then as we press forward in our walk with God, we get lit on fire for Him and soar like meteors out into the world which is a dark place and we are transformed into stars, bright lights shining in the darkness. Jenn saw the lights almost as birds flying too. There is a whole in the wall where, Guy tells me, that when they first bought the place, he was trying to patch up for a paintable surface but couldn't because of all the sand within the walls. As we was doing this, he felt so discouraged and he thought how this place is such a "whole in the wall"; it's so far away and out in the middle of the city where there's not a lot of church going people, kind of in a run down part of town. Fast forward back to me painting, he's watching me and God totally uses my painting to minister to him because I'm taking this whole in the wall and i put a bright light in it and paint around the edges and the inside of the whole, making it beautiful.

That is what I want my art to do. Glorify God and minister to people for the glory of His kingdom; to help all the earth look towards Him. :D

Next I went to Cranes Roust where a couple of my friends hold Worship In The Park. They are playing songs and I'm eating a sandwich from Chick fil A. I'm looking out into the water and the sky and listening to the birds and the fish splashing and I see a turtle swimming near the dock I'm standing on. I'm just overcome with all of creation and how beautiful it is and fun to hear all the birds in the sky and the fish in the sea. God speaks to me and tells me, "I made all this for you to enjoy". All of creation was made for us. So naturally I have to paint the turtle. lol I wasnt really sure why the turtle and not a bird or fish but it just had to be the turtle. Little did I know, Christina, playing the drums, walks over, sees my painting and exclaims, "Oh I LOVE turtles!" haha (I think to myself, THAT'S why!...and also...this is your painting. lol) I gave it to her and she, honoring me, hung it on a wall in her house. :D I'm so blessed! I love Jesus!

These were the skies that were overhead when we were worshiping. :D

Holy spirit hang out night

Hung with my girls, Tanya and Reida after serving single mothers at Orlando Resque Mission Center. As we prayed together I saw this and its what God sees us as, these bright lights in the darkness. Also it has a couple meanings, the Holy Spirit hovers over the darkness, over the waters. It also is pointing to our triune God, the trinity and how "where two or more are gathered, there I AM". You are solidified when you have felloship just as you won't fall over if you are standing in between two people; as opposed to if you're by yourself, you may fall to the right or to the left.

The MixMid!!

My church, Church in the Son, asked me to paint these offering buckets for their Youth ministry called The MixMid. They are totally on fire for God and the most seeking and 'diving into the Word' kids I've ever seen. It's awesome, if you're in Orlando, you should check out Church in the Son.

True Love

This is my two friends, Emily & Stan. They are in love and just got married this past weekend. <3 The "Love" they are holding is my own creation. I carved it out of wood with a Dremel tool and painted it a dark teal anf roughed it up to have a worn look. It was so much fun and I really like working with wood. Also I think it's equally kool because Jesus was a carpenter and I bet He could do some amazing things with this medium.
enjoy!

Santiago Tidal Wave

This is the painting I did during a mission trip to The Dominican Republic. My team and I went to a church in Santiago and I wanted to do a worship painting to bless that church. God gave me this image of this tidal wave as well as I had heard a prophecy the day before about this tidal wave. It symbolizes how the Holy Spirit is going to wash over and take the city of Santiago and move through the people in that place. Santiago is going to be a city for God and His kingdom. :D

p.s. (I didnt know this when I painted it..) but recently God showed me that the red part in the painting represents the people of Santiago and how He is coming to bring them into His kingdom. :)

in Christ,
kelly

The words that are written in the second piece are Galatians 4:4-7 from the Bible.
