My awesome friend Reida told me about this place called The Well that's in Orlando closed to downtown. It's a place where people can pray, worship, create and connect with other people. As soon as I walk in this place with Reida, I feel the presence of the Holy Spirit. There are already countless of prophetic/worship paintings on the walls and mirrors. There is eclectic furniture for a lounge area, mismatched tables and small conversations of the waves of the Holy Spirit going on in this place. Prayer is happening in the back room as we walk into the "healing room" where most of the paintings are. They are in the process of opening up the property right next to their's for renovations for a future venue for bands to come and play. As I'm walking around, I get introduced to the owners, Guy and Jenn, whom are awesome, creative people with their spirited daughter, Abigail, running around pretending to be a tiger. She's an artist in the making if I ever saw one. haha I immediately am captivated by her as God shows me and Reida how she is the perfect example of how we should come in the presence of God: like a child. She is so free and has the most vivid imagination as well as huge faith and trust that nothing bad can happen to her here. The thought doesnt even cross her mind. She's just happy to be dancing. I realize that Jesus sees her as the most important person in the whole room. There are at least four talented, anointed, mature, walking with the Lord, Christians here but SHE is the most important out of all of us. I direct my attention to her as the others are praying together. She proceeds to tell me how much she loves colors and which ones are her favorite. She tells me that she really likes pink, yellow and purple (now I have my pallette). :D Then I pray and God gives me this vision:
The flower buds are us before we know Christ when God is planting seeds in our lives to direct our steps and point us towards Him. Then we bloom when we meet Jesus and fully give our lives over to Him. Then as we press forward in our walk with God, we get lit on fire for Him and soar like meteors out into the world which is a dark place and we are transformed into stars, bright lights shining in the darkness. Jenn saw the lights almost as birds flying too. There is a whole in the wall where, Guy tells me, that when they first bought the place, he was trying to patch up for a paintable surface but couldn't because of all the sand within the walls. As we was doing this, he felt so discouraged and he thought how this place is such a "whole in the wall"; it's so far away and out in the middle of the city where there's not a lot of church going people, kind of in a run down part of town. Fast forward back to me painting, he's watching me and God totally uses my painting to minister to him because I'm taking this whole in the wall and i put a bright light in it and paint around the edges and the inside of the whole, making it beautiful. That is what I want my art to do. Glorify God and minister to people for the glory of His kingdom; to help all the earth look towards Him. :D

Next I went to Cranes Roust where a couple of my friends hold Worship In The Park. They are playing songs and I'm eating a sandwich from Chick fil A. I'm looking out into the water and the sky and listening to the birds and the fish splashing and I see a turtle swimming near the dock I'm standing on. I'm just overcome with all of creation and how beautiful it is and fun to hear all the birds in the sky and the fish in the sea. God speaks to me and tells me, "I made all this for you to enjoy". All of creation was made for us. So naturally I have to paint the turtle. lol I wasnt really sure why the turtle and not a bird or fish but it just had to be the turtle. Little did I know, Christina, playing the drums, walks over, sees my painting and exclaims, "Oh I LOVE turtles!" haha (I think to myself, THAT'S why!...and also...this is your painting. lol) I gave it to her and she, honoring me, hung it on a wall in her house. :D I'm so blessed! I love Jesus!
These were the skies that were overhead when we were worshiping. :D
